Lately I have been feeling stressed, so today I did what relieves me from stress, cooking!
I made:
- A dense banana bread that had dried cranberries folded into it! (Phillip’s dense preference, I like them a bit fluffier)
- Potato Gnocchi
- …and to go with the potato gnocchi, whole wheat penne pasta with a combined tomato sauce with sauteed ground beef with herbs and spices in a red wine reduction (I don’t know how to describe it, there’s more to it.. you just gotta try it! :D )
- A rice porridge soup with chopped carrots, kale, corn and chicken with a dash of dark soy sauce and rice wine and sweet cooking rice wine :P
I sure feel much better now, at least for now. But the stress will continue, because of what I was originally stressed with and this is the last week of summer school, big presentation that’s 20% of my grade (graded by the class), 2 finals on thursday and well the GRE a week after this. T_T
